Otmoor Publishing is a small but beautiful publishing company based just outside Oxford in the UK. It is owned and run by Gillian Nineham and Stephen Bonner, who have many years’ experience in publishing.
The company was established in 2014 to develop a number of publishing projects. The criteria for these projects is that they should be interesting, worthwhile - in terms of having the potential to make a positive difference to people - and able to be worked on from anywhere in the world where there’s wifi.
Our current projects include a number of books - in print and digital versions - plus writing and consultancy and two online ventures which will launch in 2015.
Why the name Otmoor Publishing? The company’s base is in a beautiful part of Oxfordshire called Otmoor. It is a grass and wetland area famous for its birdlife, with a very remote feel but only fifteen minutes’ drive from Oxford. It’s a very inspirational and tranquil place to work.
And why the sheep logo? Sheep of various breeds are a very common feature on Otmoor and the breed on which the logo is based is the Oxford Down.
